Um rapaz chamado Keita Amano encontra um dispositivo chamado Yo-kai Watch que lhe permite identificar e ver diferentes tipos de Yo-kai que são monstros invisíveis que estão por trás de muitos problemas comuns que enfrentamos no dia-a-dia. Acompanhado dos Yo-kais Jibanyan e Whisper começam a fazer amigos com todos os tipos de Yo-kai que ele poderá convocar para lutar.
A boy named Keita Amano finds a device called Yo-kai Watch that allows him to identify and see different types of Yo-kai that are invisible monsters that are behind the many common problems we face every day. Accompanied by the Yo-kais Jibanyan and Whisper begin making friends with all kinds of Yo-kai that he can call to fight.
